I wish this picture would have turned out better. Last Saturday the trees were filled with the most beautiful frost. Every tree was white. It was so cool looking that I had to go outside to take pictures before everything melted. Even though I am so ready for this winter to be over, I will soon miss how cool everything looks right after a snowfall.

I had many mornings going to work where I saw this exact same thing on the trees on the south side of Phalen. Around 8:30, if it were a crisp morning with some condensation from the lake, the trees over there would all be sparkly and white like this. I would vow to bring my camera, but never remembered to do so. I would always murmur a little prayer of thanksgiving to God for such a beautiful start to my day! I even had plans to go on a Saturday a couple of times to try to catch it, but never did. Thanks for the beautiful picture, Amy!
