After a morning of sleeping in and afternoon full of running errands it was finally time to head to Grandma and Grandpa's to watch the game and pick up the girls.
As soon as the girls saw us they went crazy. We could hear Hailey from the driveway screaming with joy and excitement. The closer we got the louder she got.
We walked in the door and within minutes the girls were asking if we could go and take Angel for a walk.
It was a beautiful day so it sounded like a good idea!
Hannah wanted to hold the leash and Hailey wanted to ride in the stroller.
They took me along their normal trail- around the block.
Hannah wanted to pose for us |
Grandma made a Chicken Alfredo pasta that she had bought from Costco.
It took a while before Hannah would taste it (which is not like her) but when she finally did she asked Grandma "Why do you hide your cooker books from my mom?"
Hmmmm....guess that's a hint
Hannah: "We should give people nicknames. Let's start with daddy. What should we call him?"
Grandma: "Hmmmm....what do you think?"
Hannah: "Ummmm, how 'bout The Best Cooker Who Drives the Boat Fast"
Hailey : "Yeah, he goes super fast but me no like super fast."
Hannah: "Grandma, I will call you Good Chef"
Had to do the Amy Duncan pose again |
After dinner Grandma pulled out some Anniversary desserts that she had bought from a little place downtown Anoka- Trufles and Tortes
They were little mini cakes that had TONS of flavor!
Top left: Chocolate with chocolate mouse
Top right: Raspberry and chocolate (my fav)
Bottom left: Banana and chocolate
Bottom right: Bailey's
MMMM....DELISH! (and adorable!) |
