Happy Birthday Hannah!
Today Hannah turns 6 yrs old.
Today I learned a few things about six year olds.
1. They don't need the hallway light on or door open to sleep anymore. Especially if they get a glow pillow for their birthday.
2. They know how to do their own hair and rarely want help with it
3. They can tell how many syllables are in a word- 'it's easy mom, just put your hand under your chin and talk, if your hand goes down, it's a syllable.'
4. They make friends very easily- within a few days at school they can already have BFFs
5. They know about lambs ear flowers and how soft they feel
6. Give them any letter of the alphabet and they will give you a list of words that start with that letter
7. The know all about bus safety- even if they don't ride the bus
I'm sure there is much more to learn about 6 year olds and I guarantee this one will teach me a few more things in the next year!

Happy Birthday Hannah! I cannot believe that she's 6! And I think your list is pretty much specific to one, super-smart 6 year old!
