Pine County Parade

The first weekend in August is always host to the Pine County Fair and Parade.

Loriann, Josh, Talon and Marlee came to the cabin today.  The day started cool but by the time we left for the parade the sun had come out and it was warming up.  The kids didn't mind that the sun wasn't out and as soon as they got all of the parents to say yes they were in their suits splashing in the lake.

Grandma Chris set up chairs to claim our spot on the street earlier in the day so we knew that we didn't need to leave too early to find a place to park the crew.

The kids lasted on the curb until the bees came out. Then they spread out and by the end of the parade I was  all alone on that blanket :-(

Talon and Marlee- Hard to find a time when these two aren't smiling.  Such happy kids!

Kas has not been too happy about my camera in his face for the past 4 weeks.
Note to him- if you weren't so darn adorable I would be able to keep my lens off you.

Agustin is always willing to smile for me.
At least for now....

We finished our day with a boat ride.
Talon, Marlee and Hannah LOVED IT!

Talon:  "Show us what this things got!"
Marlee:  :"You are the BEST driver in the world!"
Hannah:  "This is turning out to be the best day ever!"

Yes Hannah, it was a pretty good day.

We ended the day with the most beautiful orange and purple sunset.
