Today we are headed to Des Moines, Iowa for Brian's cousin Jessica's wedding.
I have done this drive many times so the car ride went pretty quick. The girls actually did really good.
After we got checked into our hotel, we freshened up and then headed out.
The ceremony and reception were at the same Nature Center Site.
The wedding was set up outside in the yard and it could not have been more adorable.
It was a small wedding and although we don't talk to Jessica much, it was sweet of her to invite us and I was glad that we were able to make it and be a part of their special day.
As always, the kids enjoyed their time together and grandma got plenty of attention :-)
It must be exhausting for her, being in demand like that, but I am sure that she wouldn't have it any other way.
The wedding was short and sweet. Their dog was the ring bearer, they took a selfie with the crowd, Charlie fist bumped the officiant and instead of your typical unity candle they made a time capsule.
The kids loved being able to roam through the Nature Center and towards the end of the night they had the dance floor to themselves.
