This morning Hannah and I needed to stop at the corner store by her school to buy her a bottle of water.
As we were making our way to the coolers I passed by the Slushie machine.
It reminded me of Tom Thumb and the slushies that Vicky and I would make. Back in our day we had to squirt the flavor in the cup first so this look was a little hi-tech. Too bad it was 7:00 in the morning......might have to make it back here some night after school to see if they taste the same.
We decided to take a few days off work and head to the cabin tonight. This weekend is the Pine County Fair and parade. Brian had some things to do and wanted to get our boat working so it was going to work out perfectly. We would be here by ourselves for a few nights before the rest of the family arrived this weekend.
The sunsets at the lake are breathtaking. No two are the same and it seems like every night is a new display of colors.
