Hannah has started working on her birthday list. She was sitting next to me on the couch and when I glanced over to see what she was doing it sort of hit me how old she is getting. I realize only coming up on 10 doesn't really make her 'old' but she is definitely growing up.
Sometimes as a mom you feel like you are doing everything for your kids. Sometimes you feel like you are making every decision and walking them through every decision or thing to do. Today when I realized that she took it upon herself to start a list in the Notes section of her iPod it just made me a little emotional. I know it sounds crazy. But just a reminder to me that we are definitely entering a new season of life.
