I ended up getting two dozen so I sent some over to the Carlson's and Goman's as well.
I volunteered at Hannah's school today for her class Halloween party.
Each of the parents that were involved came up with a different idea for an activity or snack and then we set up stations. We had the kids break up into groups and spend 10 minutes at each station.
Bean Bag Toss
TP Bowling
Spider Craft
Hannah loved having me there. I surprised her by wearing a small (very small) costume.
Ms Short called a few kids names at a time and when their name was called it was their time to get their costume on. When Hannah came out from the bathroom the girls in her class went crazy! "Hannah! A bride?! Look at you! You are so pretty! You look like a princess!" They then gathered around her to 'protect' her from the werewolf and other 'monsters' in the classroom.
The kids seemed to really enjoy themselves and the TP Bowling was a HIT!
Our first Halloween at the new house. The Busta's came over to Trick O' Treat in the neighborhood with us. Typically we have been going to their neighborhood, since our block never did much and there were no kids walking around.
Dave and Brian hooked the kids up with a stylish ride! We made our way through the neighborhood and then back home to warm up. I wish that Halloween wasn't always so cold. I don't remember it being so cold all the time when we were little and since we have had kids I feel like every year is freezing. Thank goodness for hand warmers, mittens and neighbors serving warm cocktails!
