It's finally happening! The Parmley Family is taking a vacation!
Brian and I were talking one night how nice it would be to finally take the girls somewhere. Spring Break was just around the corner and although we weren't planning to hop off to Florida or anything, we thought a good old fashioned road trip to the Dells sounded fun.
The girls did great in the car on the way there. Thanks to movies and car games :-)
As soon as we arrived we stopped for lunch and then drove through 'downtown' with the shops.
The girls were most interested in getting to our hotel and getting in the pool so we didn't spend much time out and about.
We stayed at the Kalahari. It advertised an indoor amusement park, bowling, indoor and outdoor waterpark (the outdoor park was obviously closed due to the time of year), it had a movie theater, restaurants and even a baby tiger.

Before we made our way to the waterpark we played a round of mini golf. It was a blast!
Hannah really wanted to tackle the water slides so I went with her. It probably wasn't the best idea because after a few falls through the dark and twisty tunnels, I started to feel sick.
It could have been from the motion, it could have been that it was almost 7 o clock at night and we hadn't eaten dinner. Whatever it was had me out for the count for the rest of the night. Brian went and got us a pizza and we spent the rest of day one (well the evening of day one) in the hotel room tending to a sick mommy. (it sucks getting old)
