Remember me?

Today is my first official day back in the office since I left there 11 days ago.

When I was leaving that Thursday afternoon I had made a commitment that I was not going to work and obsessively check my email while I was away.

I can't admit to never checking email but I will say that I was very proud of myself.

I skimmed my email each day and deleted the items that I knew that I wasn't going to need to read.  I looked at a small few from a few certain senders and tried not to respond unless necessary or it was so quick that after a response I could delete.

The best sign however was this morning when I had to open my trunk to get my work bag.  It had sat here all week waiting for me to return.
