This weekend was the Pine County Fair and Parade. We tackled the fair last night for a few hours so today we went back into town for the parade. It rained most of the day today and just about an hour before the parade began we were talking to the kids about how we were going to have to have our own parade since the parade in town would be cancelled.
Within minutes of that conversation, the sky cleared, turned bright blue, the sun came out and the weather was perfect for a parade. Hurry! Let's wake up Hailey and head into town!

The kids had a good time. Hannah stayed close to grandma for most of the parade, she was not a huge fan of the loud marching bands. Hailey couldn't get enough. My used-to-be shy little girl was standing in the middle of the street (well, about 6-12 inches from the curb) and dancing to the music that went by waving to anyone and everyone that would pay attention to her. She was so cute and adorable that I like to think that she was the real attraction for the day.
